Minutes can be purchased in the browser version of Canva. Capiii is a separate service and is not included in Canva Pro. Prices include VAT where applicable.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Capiii cost? Is it a subscription?
Capiii is not a subscription. You get 2 free captioning minutes to try it. After that, you can buy 12 additional minutes for a one-time payment of $5.
I can't find the link to buy minutes. Where is it?
The purchase link is only available in the browser version of Canva. If you use the Canva mobile or desktop app, open your design in a web browser such as Chrome or Safari to see the payment link.
Is Capiii included with my Canva Pro account?
No. Capiii is a separate service and is not affiliated with Canva’s Pro or NGO plans. Its pricing is separate from your Canva subscription.
Can I edit the captions after they are generated?
You customise the style, font and position before generating. Editing the text after generation isn’t available yet; it’s on the roadmap.
What if I'm not happy with the captions?
Tell us what went wrong (e.g. wrong language or captions out of sync) and we’ll look into it. Please note that purchased minutes are non-refundable.
My video has been processing for a long time. Is it stuck?
This can occasionally happen. Contact support with the length of your video and how many minutes you had left, and we’ll look into it right away.
I had a bad experience, or the app froze. What should I do?
We’re sorry about that. Contact us and tell us what happened (e.g. the app froze or you saw an error message). We’ll look into it.
